La’Quisa Richardson is the Founder of ACE Community House. ACE Community House is a love-based care coordination agency created to Advocate, Connect, and Empower families. La’Quisa is a native of Central Ohio’s Linden area. La’Quisa attended Linden McKinley High school and went on to study community health at The Ohio State University College of Nursing where she completed her certification as a Community Health Worker. La’Quisa is a trusted member of the community serving the most vulnerable of populations as a Franklin County court appointed special advocate for children. La’Quisa has strong ties to her church and community performing in roles such as health educator, care coordinator, and youth leader.
La’Quisa shares a vision of healthy communities and works to bridge gaps in the healthcare system as well as gaps that exist between community members and law enforcement. She has collaborated with several youth serving agencies including the Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation, Primary One Health, Columbus Police Safety Cadets, Columbus Division of Fire, Health Impact Ohio and the Columbus CARE Coalition. In 2021 La’Quisa participated in the South Side Leadership Academy gaining recognition from Columbus City Council for her efforts in social justice where she partnered with public safety agencies and held Safety Ambassador cohorts for youth with an aptitude for community service.
In 2022 La’Quisa secured funding for Community Health Workers to be trained to address social determinants of health and violence de-escalation. June 2023 ACE Community House hosted Tank Day for Casey Goodson Jr in honor of families impacted by police violence. In October of 2023 La’Quisa became a recipient of the Central Ohio Social Justice Award for community service, an Honoree of Ohio Women Against Domestic Violence, and was accepted into the 2024 New Leaders Council Columbus Institute. In 2024 La’Quisa will serve Linden residents through the Leadership Linden Cohort and sit on the advisory board for Columbus Police Chief Elaine Bryant who made history as the first African American female Chief in Columbus Ohio.

A Community Health Worker or a CHW assists the community by bridging the gaps in the healthcare system. We work to reduce racial and healthcare disparities enhancing health equity and improving the quality of life for our clients. ACE Community House currently offers a variety of trainings for business and consumer clients including CPR/First Aid, First Aid mental health, Red Cross certified babysitting training, teens co- parenting class, safe sleep instruction, social justice outreach, youth safety ambassador cohort and Covid-19 and disease prevention.
ACE Community House specializes in behavioral health assessments, care coordination, family advocacy, peer support and health education. Through our three signature programs Family Stabilization, Heart of Healthcare, and Community Connections our CHW's support families as they stabilize and navigate multi-systems.
